M&S Hire Limited supply many types of access towers to suit the requirements of many different applications.
We supply towers in both the 3T (through the trap) and AGR (advanced guardrail) formats, both of which are recommended by PASMA (the Prefabricated Access Suppliers Manufacturers Association).
M&S Hire supply a full instruction manual with every tower to minimise risk and promote the safe erection and dismantling of our equipment.
The towers are available in double (1.4m) and single widths (0.8m), and platform lengths of 1.2m, 2m, 2.5m or 3m. The component nature of the towers means we can provide tower heights between 0.94m and 12.09m
A double width access tower is the standard tower (3T) that many of our customers use. The component nature of the tower ensures a versatile and stable system. All frames can be used as uppers or lowers; simply place the platform on the third rung below the top of the tower and the correct guardrail height is achieved.
The double width tower is 1.4m wide.Enquire
Single width towers are ideal for working in narrow or confined spaces such as stairwells, corridors, alleyways etc. All frames can be used as uppers or lowers; simply place the platform on the third rung below the top of the tower and the correct guardrail height is achieved.
The single width tower is 0.8m wide.Enquire
This range of multi rung towers are ideal for when intermediate working heights are required. The rung spacings at 232mm provide intermediate platform heights whilst dispensing with the need for ladder frames; the multi-rung frames double up as ladder access.Enquire
Bridge beam towers allow two (or more) normal towers to be connected to produce a much larger working area.
This bridging link can be used to provide a much larger working area at height or to work above obstacles.
The size of the bridge beams can be varied according to your needs.Enquire
The advanced guardrail tower is an alternative style of tower that is designed to reduce the risks involved during tower assembly.
The advanced guardrail frames replace most of the braces used in a standard tower. These frames cannot be removed without descending and removing the platform first, providing protection for the operator.
This type of tower enables quicker, easier and safer assembly.
The specially designed guardrail frames can be used in conjunction with our standard single and double width towers.
Unique Features Include:
By adapting our single width tower we can provide safe access to both sides of a stairwell. This adaption solves most of the access problems experienced on narrow staircases.Enquire
